Angry Orchards Brewing Company has released a beer that is “a bit of a throwback” to its past and will be available to celebrate the new year.
The brewery will release its first beer of the new season on Jan. 2.
The beer will be brewed with a combination of barley malt, water, hops and fruit.
The result is a dark, boozy ale that will be an “indistinguishable” beer from the past.
The new Angry Orchid Ale will be released in 12-ounce bottles and on draft at the brewery.
The new beer will also be available on select taprooms and in bars.
It was brewed in 2012 and has a 10.3% ABV.
It’s available on draft and at select locations including Angry Orchestrion, where it will be offered for a limited time, at Angry Orches taproom.
The beer is the latest in a line of beers from Angry Orcs brewpub.
Angry Orcheries first beer, a sour ale, was released in 2013.
The company also brewed a beer named ‘Breadcrumbs’ in 2013, which is a chocolate beer with a chocolate and graham cracker topping.
