Low carb beer is a popular low-carb beer made by using a low-calorie beer yeast.
The beer’s flavor is a light beer and can be made at home.
Low carb beers are also known as light beer, light beer with a little sweetness, or light beer made with low-energy ingredients like ginger beer.
The recipe below is a low carb ginger beer made from ginger beer yeast and a little bit of sugar.
Ingredients: 6 cups (1 1/2 pounds) fresh ginger beer, thawed and rinsed 4 tablespoons unsweetened apple cider vinegar 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon 2 cups water (I used about 2 cups)2 tablespoons vegetable oil1 teaspoon vanilla extract1 tablespoon honeyDirections:In a large pot, bring water to a boil over medium heat.
Add ginger beer and let boil for about 15 minutes.
Remove ginger beer from heat and add remaining ingredients.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
Add ginger beer to water and stir until completely dissolved.
Add a little sugar to the ginger beer mixture and stir to combine.
Cover pot and leave to boil for 20 minutes or until ginger beer has thickened.
Remove lid and let cool to room temperature.
Store in the refrigerator or freezer.
Recipe Notes: I used 1 cup of brown sugar in this recipe.
You could also use brown sugar and apple cider, but I prefer the brown sugar because it’s the easiest.
If you use apple cider instead, you can use any amount of sugar you want.
I used 1/3 cup brown.
If you make ginger beer this recipe is very low in calories, but will require more calories than other low carb beers.
